World Life Global Ltd – Costa Rica Trip Competition Terms & Conditions

  1. Eligibility:

    • Open to individuals aged 18 or over at the time of entry.

    • Entrants must hold a valid passport with at least six months’ validity after the return date and be eligible to travel to Costa Rica.

    • Proof of physical fitness to participate in the expedition is required. Entrants must be capable of hiking in humid, tropical conditions and participating in outdoor activities.

    • Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of World Life Global Ltd are not eligible.

  2. How to Enter:

    • Entry instructions are detailed on the World Life Global website and promotional materials.

    • Only one entry per person unless stated otherwise. Duplicate or fraudulent entries will be disqualified.

    • The competition closes at 23:59 BST on 30 September 2026. Entries received after this date will not be counted.

  3. Prize Details:

    • The prize is one fully paid place on the World Life Global Costa Rica wildlife expedition scheduled for Autumn 2027.

    • Flights, travel insurance, and personal expenses are not included unless otherwise specified.

    • If the Costa Rica trip is cancelled or not adequately booked, an alternative World Life Global wildlife trip of similar value will be offered.

    • Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.

  4. Winner Selection:

    • The winner will be selected at random from eligible entries and contacted in Autumn 2026 using the contact details provided.

    • If no response is received within 7 days of notification, another winner will be chosen.

  5. Travel Requirements:

    • Winners must arrange and pay for their own travel insurance, which is mandatory for participation.

    • Winners are responsible for ensuring they meet all health, visa, and vaccination requirements for travel.

    • Participants agree to follow all safety guidelines set by trip leaders and local authorities.

  6. Code of Conduct:

    • World Life Global Ltd reserves the right to remove participants from the trip for disruptive behaviour, including excessive drinking or drug use.

    • Respect for wildlife, local communities, and fellow travellers is mandatory.

  7. Liability:

    • Participation is at the winner’s own risk. World Life Global Ltd will not be held liable for loss, injury, illness, or damage sustained during travel, except where required by law.

    • Winners accept full responsibility for their own health, fitness, and preparedness for the expedition.

  8. Data Protection & Marketing:

    • By entering, participants consent to World Life Global Ltd contacting them for marketing purposes. Entrants may unsubscribe from communications at any time.

    • Personal information will be handled in accordance with World Life Global Ltd’s Privacy Policy.

  9. General:

    • World Life Global Ltd reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition, prize, or terms without prior notice if circumstances require.
