Meet the Team

Stuart Priest

With a lifelong obsession with animals of all kinds, Stu has a particular love for Reptiles. He’s kept and bred snakes for over forty years (Don’t let his baby face fool you) but he now keeps only a few, preferring to see them in their natural glory in the wild.

With a military background in The RAF, he has already seen much of the World during his service.

Now he provides education based Invertebrate experiences at various
schools throughout the UK via Bugfest, and as a partner in World Life Global
Safaris, he is one of our lead field guides, responsible for showing you the
wonders of the natural world. Whether it be Rattlesnakes in the deserts of
Arizona, sloths and tree frogs in Costa Rica or lemurs in Madagascar – he has
been there many times.

He is a very proficient photographer and able to help you get that once in a
lifetime shot.

Stu has literally LIVED it, having lived in South Africa for a number of years, he
considers himself to be familiar with the fauna of the continent.

His love of animals runs deep, and he has a strong focus on conservation and aims to assist conservation projects worldwide.

Nick Wadham

After completing a Stage One Cert.Ed. Nick achieved his hons degree equivalence in Accredited Prior Learning, followed by graduating with his PGCE. After leaving the teaching profession in 2015, he worked full time in his company Bugfest - taking natural history and entomology to schools, theatres, holiday parks, stages and festivals around the UK.

He has presented a short outside broadcast for BBC South during Carfest 2015 and has more recently appeared on Chanel Five News talking about the importance of invertebrates the danger inherent with their continued decline.

He was recently awarded the status of Elected Fellow of the Royal Entomological Society in recognition of his significant life contribution towards the furthering of and publicly raising awareness of the science of entomology and the importance of insects.

On top of his academic achievement, Nick is not just an Entomologist, he is a life-long naturalist with a deep passion for all kinds of nature from his home's native fauna of the UK to the farthest flung lands of the world; this is why he chose the name: World Life Global Safaris - to properly represent the full gamut of his and his business partner, Stu's globe-trotting ambition to see all of Mother Earth's wonders of nature, and to take you along with them.

Due to his demanding stage performance and presenting schedule every year, Nick will only be available for a few selected expeditions
